Your information
The public resource hub and business guides do not require an account. We do not use advertising cookies or analytics trackers. Resource searches run in your browser. Search terms and category selections also appear in the page address, so they can be included when you copy or share a link. If you load that address, it is sent to the website host as part of the request. This site does not send your search to a separate search service.
When you send the contact form, your name, email, optional organization, selected topic, and message are processed and stored by Netlify Forms and shared with Wilmington Geeks. We use this information to respond to your request. Netlify also processes submission information to filter spam. Please do not include passwords, sign-in codes, or private customer details.
You can also email us directly. Your email provider and our email services process that message as normal email. To ask about or request deletion of information you submitted, contact help@wilmingtongeeks.com. See Netlify’s privacy information for its practices.
The website host may process ordinary connection and request information to deliver and secure the website. If you view an owner-private preview, the hosting platform may require its own sign-in; that is separate from this site. External websites and your email provider have their own privacy practices.

Business community accounts and content
Community accounts use Neon’s managed authentication. Neon processes your account email, display name, password credentials, verification information, and session information to provide sign-in. Authentication uses necessary session storage and cookies. Your sign-in email is not displayed on your business page unless you separately enter it in the optional public contact field.
Your display name is visible to signed-in members. Published business pages, optional public contact details, and community board posts can be read by anyone. Unpublished business drafts are available to their owner through the platform. Public listings can also be copied or indexed by others.
Account verification and password-reset emails are delivered through Resend. Resend processes the recipient email address and message content, including the verification code or reset link, to send and troubleshoot these emails. See Resend’s privacy information.
Conversations and messages are stored in Neon’s database. Platform access is restricted to conversation participants; messages are not end-to-end encrypted. The operator and service providers may access data as necessary to operate the service, investigate reports, or respond to account requests. Blocking stops new messages in both directions and keeps the existing conversation.
Reports include the reporting account, the reported listing, post, or message, and the explanation supplied. We retain account and community information while needed to provide the service and review concerns. To request access, correction, or deletion, email help@wilmingtongeeks.com. Removal from active systems may precede expiry from provider backups. See Neon’s privacy information and our community guidelines.
Local information feed
The local updates feed requests published feeds from a fixed set of local organizations on our server. It displays short attributed previews and links to original articles. We do not send your community messages or account details to these sources. When you follow an external link, that website applies its own privacy practices.
Local resource information
Source pages for the starting directory were reviewed on October 27, 2026. The directory links directly to the organizations responsible for their programs. Services, costs, funding cycles, and eligibility can change. Confirm current details with each provider. Listed organizations are independent; inclusion does not imply a partnership.
